Scenarios are charcoal drawings that include intimate figments and spatial interactions. I draw abstract forms like floating tendrils and reflective surfaces that relate to plants, tubes, orbs of light, and decorative objects like mirrors. As I draw the scenes I consider how forms can emerge from the paper and become dimensional or physical. I place the shapes at different proximities to each other to play with how they cast shadows upon surfaces in their surroundings. I pay attention to how light travels through these spaces, and what their sources may be.
